Les Pieds dans l'eau is located on the Impasse du Bichet, Piriac-sur-mer, 44420. It is in the Loire Atlantique, in Southern Brittany. The nearest large city is the chic seaside resort of La Baule on the Cote d'Amour.
By train
The nearest train station serviced by regular trains is La Baule. From there it is a 30 minute drive by taxi
By Plane
The nearest airport is Nantes. From there the drive is just over an hour by taxi
By car from the UK
We have found that the most enjoyable way from the UK is on the overnight ferry from Portsmouth to St Malo. Have a lovely meal on the ferry before retiring to your cabin then wake up in France. It is then a 3 hour drive. Return via Cherbourg. A shorter and cheaper way is via the Eurotunnel but that involves more driving.
By car from France
From Guerande take the D99 towards La Turballe. Stay on the D99 following the signs to La Turballe. On the outskirts of La Turballe, at the roundabout which has a lighthouse in the centre, follow signs for Piriac par la cote. Stay on the coast road. After you pass the Piriac town sign and the row of houses on your right with open views of the sea on your left, the road will turn a 90 degree corner to the right by 2 car parks together on your left. Immediately after those car parks is a very small road - Impasse du Bichet.
